Business Development Manager: Leeds / Bradford Area

We’re looking for someone who is passionate for the role of technology in the financial services industry. SMEB prides itself on being at the forefront of the fintech world by providing a myriad of advanced payment methods whilst continuously endeavoring to optimise the experience for both our merchants and their clients. There has never been a more exciting time to join the SMEB team.

The BDM need to be experienced in generating new sales for SMEB and will be based in the Leeds / Bradford area.

Responsibilities

  • Self-generate leads and sales appointments through existing client databases and proactively research the market.
  • Build strong relationships with clients.
  • Generate weekly sales plans.
  • Report on sales plans on a weekly basis.
  • Conduct client research.
  • Contributing to, and developing, sales plans and strategies.
  • Evaluating sales campaigns.
  • Monitoring competitor activity.
  • Supporting the Head of Sales and CEO.

Experience

  • Experience of sales and face to face selling
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Negotiation skills, research, and experience in developing business strategy
  • Full clean driving license
  • Understanding of payment solutions, card payment and other solutions
  • A proven track record in lead generation and account management
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, research, and experience in developing business strategy.
  • Self-motivated, driven, focused and a team player.
  • SME experience is important with flexibility around working hours
